Santosha (contentment) is one of the foundations of the yogic path.  Developing and acknowledging gratitude helps cultivate contentment.

With Thanksgiving toward the end of the month, November is a wonderful time to bolster our practice of gratitude.

Some ideas;

  • Start a gratitude journal, simply write down things, large and small, for which you are grateful.
  • Be accountable for your gratitude. When you feel grateful to someone SAY IT. Feeling gratitude and expressing it, is like wrapping a present and not giving it.
